How often should you get a dental cleaning?

The American Dental Association recommends that most people go to the dentist every six months for dental cleanings and comprehensive oral evaluations. The exception to this is if you have gum disease or another serious oral health condition. In these cases, you may need to visit our office more often to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Can dental implants be done in one day?

There are some types of dental implant procedures that can be completed in a single day, but not all patients are candidates. We’ll help you understand the options that are available to you when you come to our office for a consultation.

Is a root canal painful?

With modern technology and local anesthesia, getting a root canal is not painful. After you leave our office, the anesthesia will wear off and you’ll likely feel some sensitivity at the site, but this is usually managed with over-the-counter pain relievers.

Do same-day crowns cost more?

Same-day crowns and traditional, lab-created crowns are usually comparable in price. Because same-day crowns have the added benefit of convenience, most patients choose CEREC crowns over traditional.

Is Invisalign better than braces?

Invisalign and braces both work to straighten your teeth and correct your bite, so ultimately, deciding which is best comes down to your personal preferences and lifestyle. Most patients prefer Invisalign because it is comfortable, convenient, and discreet.
